The Services Available
The Beeches Professional and Therapeutic Services Ltd and The Beeches Resource Centre Ltd are independent provider of health and social care services. Our current range of services for adults with a learning disability are listed below. We also operate a childrens' Day Nursery the details of which can be found here.
The Beeches Nursing Home has 35 full-time places and 1 respite bed. Residents have complex medical needs (including dementia) and physical disabilities. Residents are placed from across Northern Ireland and we currently provide services to several Health and Social Care Trusts.
The Beeches Residential Home has 34 full-time places and provides specialised residential accommodation to adults with challenging behaviour. We do not provide short-term stay or respite service. 30 of the 34 places are retained by HSC Trusts. Trust personnel should first contact their adult learning disability team to discuss potential referrals.
The Beeches Resource Centre provides day care services. The Centre's registered daily capacity is for 68 WTE places. The service offers a wide range of diversional, leisure, therapeutic and educational activities tailored to individual abilities and needs.
The Beeches Small Group Home provide a supported living service for three service users.
All our services are located within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust area.

Admission Criteria
General Criteria
- Adult (18+)
- Diagnosis of learning disability
- An agreed funding package
Nursing Home
- An assessment identifying nursing care needs
Residential Home
- An assessment identifying challenging behaviour needs
Resource Centre
- An assessment identifying day care needs
Small Group Home
- Has basic self-care and daily living skills
- In need of housing related support to sustain tenancy and live independently
- Willingness to accept support and work to an agreed plan
- No substance misuse issues
- No forensic history
- Voluntary status only
- A successful claim to NIHE for rent relief in order to qualify for Supporting People assistance
Tailored Packages
All our care packages are tailored to the individual requirements of the service user. All placements have a three month trial period during which we will establish baselines and determine suitability for long-term admission.
